HadrianCaesar Publius Aelius Traianus Hadrianus Buccellanus Augustus 76 CE to 138 CE - After the death of his father, Hadrian was taken in by his cousin Trajan who later became emperor. After the death of Trajan, Hadrian became the next emperor of Rome. Hadrian was said to have been influenced heavily by Greek culture and set to make Athens the cultural center of the empire. He also halted expansion of the empire and focused on defense and border security.
